We spent a total f 6 nights and (with the exception of the 77 steps) had the most wonderful stay. Very relaxing and we were lucky enough to have our own private patio. Terrific location, wonderful staff (Lynn). Would highly recommend.

We just returned home from a wonderful vacation in Florence. The staff and B&B accommodations were wonderful. It was so easy to get around the city from this central location.The staff told us of some wonderful things to do in the city. We would stay there again.Make sure to go up on the rooftop terrace for a relaxing break.

My husband and I spent 8 nights in Florence in April, 2010. Gabriella and Rosa were amazing hosts and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we are returning in 2011. Thank you so much for your hospitality, the immaculate rooms, the delicious breakfasts (especially those cappucino's), and your help in arranging reservations at the Accademia and Uffizi. While we did take the train and bus for day trips to Lucca and Fiesole, the B & B is so centrally located that we were able to walk to all Florence based attractions, restaurants, the train station, and shopping. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Two couples thoroughly enjoyed the Michelangelo and Giotto rooms in September 2009. We stayed 5 nights and just about cried when it was time to leave. This was the most comfortable, homelike atmosphere. We enjoyed everything about it (well, maybe not the 3 flights of stairs -- but that climb was so worth it). I highly recommend B&B Il Bargello to all my friends and would book it in a heartbeat if I were offered a chance to visit Florence again.
